Monday Montage #112

Hello there and welcome back for the bi-weekly Monday Montage blog hop. I'm so happy you joined us!  Be sure to visit all 9 stops to see what other amazing designers have created to share with you.

Tonight I have a quick and easy treat to share!  I made a bunch of these little cuties for my favorite peeps at Starbucks.

To begin- I filled a 2" x 8" Cellophane Bag with some Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs.  I tied the top of the bag closed with Lemon Lime Twist Mini Striped Ribbon.  It was the perfect color to match the lemon lime eggs.

I then began creating the Happy Easter medallions.  I created a rosette and simply adhered the Mini Embroidery Hoop to the front.   Since the medallions are tied to the bag of treats- it can easily be removed and used as an ornament.
Super cute!

Here's a close-up of the medallion.  Isn't it adorable?  Thanks to an idea my friend Paula Dobson came up with- I used Brusho for the sky and then stamped "grass" from the High Tide Stamp Set in Lemon- Lime Twist and Garden Green Inks.

So fun!  I'm hoping that my favorite barista's will enjoy!

Beautiful Day

Hey there stampers!  Can you believe that I'm JUST now using Brusho?  I know!  I can't believe it either!  Brusho has been available for a few months now and it is absolutely amazing!  Look how vibrant the colors are! The red pops right off the card!

To create the flower above- I stamped the flower from the Beautiful Day Stamp Set onto a piece of Water Color Paper using Basic Black Archival Ink.  After the black ink was dry- I shook some of the Brilliant Red Brusho onto a clear block.  I slowly began adding drops of water to the Brusho until the desired color was achieved.

I then carefully colored each piece of the flower in.  I set it aside to dry and added a few more layers of Brilliant Red Brusho to create the deep red look.  For the leaf- I began by shaking some Moss Green onto an acrylic block and added some water.  I didn't like the look of just the Moss Green by itself so I then added some Yellow and Prussian Blue to the mix.  The green above was the end result!

It's really easy to create gorgeous images with Brusho!  I'm sure you're all well aware that there are many, many ways to use Brusho.  You can spritz it, paint it, mix it- the possibilities are truly endless!

OSAT Blog Hop- Happily Ever After

Hey there stampers! Welcome back for another fabulous One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop!  This month our theme is Happily Ever After.

I have a super fun wedding guest favor and a wedding card to share today.

I was browsing the Stampin' UP! demonstrator board yesterday and came across an adorable little "suitcase" that held a tiny bottle of liquor.  Since I had already purchased a case of mini Tito's Vodka a few weeks ago,  I thought it would be a great idea to try creating a suitcase for myself!

Creating one for myself was an epic FAIL!  Literally I went through about 50 sheets of card stock before I figured the correct measurements out.  Unfortunately the Tito's bottles are MUCH larger than the one the other demo used in her post!  Ugh!  Thanks to Jen Floyd for sharing her directions on FB.  It certainly sent me in the right direction!

For my card- It's pretty plain and very simple.  Sometimes I just like the look of "less".
The cake embellishment was cut out of a piece of Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper.

I hope you have enjoyed my project for this month!  It's been a fun one to create!

Happy Stampin'!

Monday Montage #111 A Good Day

Hello there and welcome back for the bi-weekly Monday Montage blog hop. I'm so happy you joined us!  Be sure to visit all 9 stops to see what other amazing designers have created to share with you.

It's been a while since I've hopped with the wonderful Monday Montage Team.  Tonight I'm back and I have 2 of the cutest cards to share with you!

One of the stamp sets in the Occasions Catalog to first grab my attention was the A Good Day stamp set.  To some- upon first glance this set might not seem like a must have but let me show you just how cute it is!

My first card features the sweet little deer.  The card base is Smoky Slate with a Smoky Slate top layer.  The sentiment was randomly stamped using Basic Gray Archival Ink.  The deer is stamped on a piece of Watercolor Paper in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed in White Stampin' Emboss Powder with the Heat Tool.

I then colored the little cutie and his background using the following re-inkers and an Aqua Painter- Crumb Cake, Pink Pirouette and Soft Sky.

As Spring rapidly approaches I'm finding myself creating tiny little card stock roses for embellishments.  For this card- the roses nestle upon the Mini Embroidery Hoops and a bed of leaves cut from the Lovely Laurel Thinlets Dies.  A Pool Party Baker's Twine bow completes the card.

My second card focuses on the adorable little bunny and is 100% my favorite!  This card has a lot of my favorite elements on it....right down to the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper that I am in LOVE with.

Once again I have added a cluster of roses only this time- the roses are the main focal point with the bunny being an accent.  So cute!

What do you think?  Are you ready for Spring?  I know I am!
